D/A/CH organisation becomes responsible for the EU region. SOCHAIR Organization in the UK and Scotland becomes a stand-alone and independent D/A/CH organisation.

Closer cooperation between the D/A/CH organisation (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and the BENELUX national division.

On 1.10.2019, the first German counselling centre was opened in Friesland under the name "SOCHAIR Organization (European Council) e.V.". Today, it functions as the counselling centre of the "SOCHAIR Organization National Section D/A/CH - Office München e.V." and the organisation "sozialerstuhl Deutschland e.V." in the field of social affairs, vocational training and victim assistance in justice matters.

With the relocation of the headquarters to Edinburgh, Scotland, in October 2016, the foundation stone of the organisation's European headquarters was laid with the establishment of "SOCHAIR Organization Headquarters Europe" as a "Private Limited Company by guarantee without share capital use of 'Limited' exemption". The London office was transformed into the national department for the United Kingdom and has since been renamed "SOCHAIR Organization National Section UK".

The organisation's name was changed to "PRO Human Rights Organization CLG", and, from mid-2017 onwards, the activities of the organisation focused on Europe.

First projects

Between 2014 and mid-2017, two projects were implemented in South Asia (Indonesia and Malaysia).

Project: Supporting state authorities in combatting human rights violations and corruption, as well as a project to set up a vocational training system for trade and craft that accords with European standards.

Start of the organization

Our organisation was founded in October 2014 under the name "ORANG-ORANG Organization for Human" in London. "ORANG-ORANG" represents the word used in Asian countries for "HUMAN" as well as the apes "Orangutans".
